This is a rare Ubisoft promotional faceplate from 2008 celebrating the 10th anniversary of Tom Clancy games.

The faceplate was only given out in Australia in very limited numbers, and wasn’t available to buy for the public. Ubisoft only gave the faceplates out to members of the press and managers of EB Games stores present at a special invite-only event in Australia.

This was part of a store closedown lot, has been left in a box of vintage game parts.

The faceplate was manufactured by Pegasus Technology which was well known for making high-quality faceplates for several large companies and publishers at the time.

The faceplate was designed and distributed by Ubisoft directly.

The faceplates were given out at a special event held by Ubisoft to brief store managers of EB Games in Australia and members of the press on future Ubisoft games coming out for the Q4 holiday season of 2008. Managers of EB Games stores were invited to come and play the upcoming games, and Ubisoft staff were on hand to give presentations and important sales information on each title that the publisher wanted to drive on.

No faceplates were ever sold to the public, and the event was a closed-doors invite-only event.
