400 plain white Microsoft OEM plates were airbrushed on-the-spot at the Zero Hour US Xbox 360 launch event in Palmdale, CA. There were a variety of stencils used, including stars, skulls, etc. One of the artists was the woman who painted all of the gamertags in block lettering that is on most of the Xbox 360 marketing. Unlike the UK Gorillaz plates, of which there are 600 and they show up quite often, these plates are almost impossible to find on the secondary market.
