The MVS (Multi Video System) coin-operated arcade machine offers arcade owners the ability to put up to six different cartridges into a single cabinet to save money and valuable floor space in arcades.
With its games stored on self-contained cartridges, a cabinet's game can be exchanged for a different game by swapping the game's ROM cartridge and cabinet artwork.
The cabinets were available in 1-slot, 2-slot, 4-slot, and 6-slot variations, the difference was the amount of game cartridges that could be loaded into the machine at one time.
The home console version, the AES uses different cartridges but has the same games.
