The headphones were only sold in Japan under the designation DMG-02. In all other countries they were part of the Game Boy + Tetris bundle. Unlike the Game Boy's built-in mono speakers, the headphones reproduce sound in stereo. The headphones are connected to the headphone jack on the bottom of the Game Boy.
